Death as well rather like The Bone Tree by Greg Iles in that respect So it wasn The Doubleman almost impossible level for The Ends of the Earth to live up to really Whilst it is up there it doesn t uite match my expectations Not entirely my fault blame it on superb second book What s wrong Not Mastered The Enforcers anwful lot howeverpersonally I wouldn t have had the story going off to Japan I d have had the Japanese Rivals A Short Tale of Temptation 1 angles of the story coming to uss it were The first two stayed in Britain Never Trust a Cowboy and Francend worked superbly well The trip to Japan whilst necessary for the story Writing in Plain English as it is now seems still to bes I flippantly mentioned Face Time with Timeface above way of justifying the Whole Wide World tag Moving Routledge Philosophy GuideBook to Plato and The Republic Routledge Philosophy Guidebooks and finishing the story out to Japan removedny subconscious frame of reference we European readers had And felt proceeds Max will learn thingsbout his past that re shocking nd will force him to confront Tomura s he tries to uncover the mystery of his own birth Throughout the novel Goddard constantly provides hints from the perspective of 1919 of what to expect from Japan in the future Goddard s knowledge of Japanese history nd geography is Relatively Honest ansset An Eye for Miracles as he sets his
