PDF FREE (Of Sound Mind and Someone Elses Body) AUTHOR William Quincy Belle
I m always intrigued when an author switches the bodies of a male and female to see if they do than the standard things that other authors do The blurb sounded Body by Darwin: How Evolution Shapes Our Health and Transforms Medicine like it was going to take aittle of a comedic approach so when the beginning of the book started out with Alan finding himself on the giving end of something he as a hetro male has always received I was on board to see what would happen nextOnce Alan figures out what s happened he heads back to his place to see if the owner of the body he s now hanging out in is at his place He meets Hana and the two of them compare notes to try and figure out how the switch happened Once we meet Hana she pretty much dominates the story We do get both POV S but Hana s voice is the vocal and almost sermonizing of the two While this book says that Hana is an escort other than the first part of the book we only hear about it we never really see her or Alan who s now in her body perform any of her services We do get non stop almost documentary style from Hana about how women are treated the double standards that we face etcWhen these two finally do their moment it fades to black So for all of the that we face etcWhen these two finally do their moment it fades to black So for all of the that is implied this story could be rated PG13Maybe a different delivery of Hana s very valid points may have endeared her to me as it was I didn t feel a connection to either of the characters It was an ok read albeit with a Blue Guide lot of facts spewed at you that almost makes the content of the messageose it s effectI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily Beyond the Miracle: Inside the New South Africa leaving a review I received the ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review I will preface my review with that I do not normally read Science Fiction type of Romance and therefore this was pretty new to me I could not help but compare the book to All of Me the Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin movie where they switched bodies This feltike a modern take on the story In this book Alan a successful financial professional and Hanna a high priced escort have their brains switch during some scientific trails that they volunteered for As they try to figure out how to switch back they Birth and Fortune: The Impact of Numbers on Personal Welfare learn uite a bit about each other and what it isike to be in the body of the opposite sex The character of Hanna is well developed and she seems to have done research on the dynamics between the sexes and how it affects us and society Although it was interesting at times she could be a bit preachy about her views On the other hand I felt Alan was pretty one dimensional which I thought was strange since it was by a male authorThe story had both action and humor and told the story in an interesting way The relationship between the characters was challenging because of their very different personalities and perspectives I am glad I got to read it for my review but I am not sure I will Island Girls (and Boys) look for others in this style An awesome take on body swapping I have watched numerous cartoons Jimmy Neutron is an example and read Freaky Friday and this is still a uniue stor What a wholly different and intriguing book It s a very adult 18 Freaky Friday variant with the mind swap happening between a sex worker and a man in a corporate job The switch happens almost right away when the man finds his consciousness suddenly in the female sex workers body while she is plying her trade Parts of this book are highly amusing as both come to grips with their newives in a different body Alan Maitland is a successful businessman on his way up the corporate Calvinists Incorporated: Welsh Immigrants on Ohio's Industrial Frontier ladder Life is good butife is also full of the unexpected A scientific experiment goes awry and Alan’s mind is transferred to the body of Hana Toussaint a high class escort Suddenly he must not only contend with a new identity but with the eye opening experience of iving as a female how to wal. This is the 1st book I ve read written by William uincy Belle he has done a great job at writing a good book I will definitely be reading of his booksThe story ine caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire bookI oved the charactersI received a free copy of and kept me interested throughout the entire bookI oved the charactersI received a free copy of book via booksprout and I m voluntarily eaving a review UNIUELY NOVEL STORYLINEAn absolutely amazing idea completely impossible scientifically but a great philosophical uestion The idea was handled as a humorous desperation of those involved Hana and Alan Their identities are switched
during a neurophysiological experiment they both volunteered for and they both have a neurophysiological experiment they both volunteered for and they both have earn to exist as each other Alan is totally amazed at having boobs and Hana is extatically happy at having a penis Well one can imagine that apart from the different skill sets they possess their Bulletproof Feathers: How Science Uses Nature's Secrets to Design Cutting-Edge Technology lives are intertwined in an irrevocable manner Neither can really exist without the other They develop a uniuely close bond that neither wants to break yet they must seek out the doctor and find a way to somehow reverse the experiment that had gone so wrong They bothearn some valuable Casuistry and Modern Ethics: A Poetics of Practical Reasoning lessons about the opposite sex and apart from Alanearning to walk i Just WoW This book held me in suspense until the next to very end and then again until the very end You Charlestown Blues ll just have to read for yourself to fully understand what I m talking aboutWhat s the deal with Hana s obsession I keep wondering if the author was trying to make a point by demonstrating society s moral ineuality We accept the fact that men are apt to be obsessed with sex We expect it Women are not allowed those same thoughts If Alan had been the one to obsessively discuss sexual behavior would my reaction be any different I wouldike to say no but I am merely a sheep hiding in a flock of so called moral societyWas the author expecting to strike up a moral debate Maybe Maybe not Either way this story was a fun read I kept comparing myself to Alan The real Alan not the Hana Alan Like Alan I am perfectly comfortable with avoiding uncomfortable situations Sometimes I feel capable of stepping millimeters over the Charlestown Blues: Selected Poems, a Bilingual Edition line if the dangling carrot is made of chocolateSo is the author of sound mind I wasn t sure of the answer at first Maybe you should read this book in the name of science and come to your own conclusion We ve all thought about what would I do if I woke up as a member of the opposite sex Plenty said they would thanikely inspect their new found body parts That s exactly what Alan did in a not so sexual way This book starts off with a bang and well it didn t suck hint hint Alan
Wakes Up As Hanna up as Hanna Hanna wakes up as Alan Stick with me They seek each other out and try to correct the problem at hand and in the meantime they Building the South Side learn aot about each other and the opposite sex Alan and Hanna embarke on an adventure of a Bright College Years lifetime with some mishaps along the wayOf Sound Mind and Someone Else s Body isn t just humerous it explores how men and woman are perceived by society How a woman can be free sexually yet be judged harshly for it It s also aove story It is a uick romp of a story and it was outside of what I would normally read and I enjoyed it I can t believe I plowed though this book It is gratifying to see follow along from begging to end It s well thought out uniue and uite entertaining I Chicagos Urban Nature loved the premise and how well the author execute. Back their respectiveives Along the way they must cope with Cezanne and Provence: The Painter in His Culture living as each other andearn what it's Chicago's Urban Nature: A Guide to the City's Architecture + Landscape like to be a member of the opposite sex And as their adventure goes on Alan the woman must figure out his growing feelings for Hana the man Alan faces the biggest challenge of hisife which Hana sums up with one decisive uestion “Are you man enough to be a woman?.
