Her skirt up her thigh to reveal the pistol held snugly in a lacy black holster Sweet Moses that s hot he whisperedThe copy I read was an ARC and it had several misspellings and wrong words One wrong word pulled me out of the story at absurd an image it presented I hope it s corrected in the final copy From her secreted presumably the author meant her hidden or secret position but instead she has uinn mitting the position from her body Yeah not a good visualApart from that unappealing visual An Uncommon Honeymoon was a fast paced adventure story with a sweet and steamy romance humor and hot topics Loved this book uinn is a librarian who has become a CIA operative who marries her CIA operative partner James This is a thriller that deals with the dangerous and difficult topic of the trafficing and slavery of children Despite the circumstances of the plot this is a fun thrillercaper with fast action and a tightly woven plot that had me turning pages just #as uickly as possible I love uinn and James and thoroughly #uickly as possible I love uinn and James and thoroughly reading about their scapades If you njoy the genre you will love this book While it is part of a series this is a stand alone novel however it s so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all The author is on my must read authors list uinn Ellington is married at last but not ven the honeymoon means she can take time off from being a spy However investigating a drug trafficking ring isn t going to be asy Trading Places: The Netherlandish Merchants in Early Modern Venice especially when her brand new husband is so protective of her But the closer they get to catching the bad guys the uinn is neededspecially when it comes to luring a very dangerous villain into a trap Will uinn s uniue skills be indispensable or will she barely En plein coeur escape her hardest mission yetThis series just gets and intriguing and captivating in the way the stories provide plenty of action the perfect combination of suspense and romance and a fast paced storyline that had me wondering whether uinn and her spy husband would come out on top against the bad guys considering what they go through towards thend of this book that had me on the The Bookshop on the Shore edge of my seat due to the danger they face The way this story started had me reallyxcited to read this story as what uinn and James are doing sets the fast pace of the book However it was the characters that made this story very intriguing and Dance Real Slow exciting as uinn finally gets to use her skills as an operative to take the lead of the case as being a woman has its advantagesspecially when it comes to manipulating powerful men Certainly uinn is strong brave and I liked how she handled herself with The Art of Memoir every dangerous situation she found herself in I also liked the tight bond she shares with her family as they give her advice andncourage her to do her best The Day Christ Was Born: The True Account of the First 24 Hours of Jesus's Life especially since marriage isn t alwaysasy Overall Ms Mann has delivered a really good read in this book where the chemistry between the hero and heroine was strong the dialogue a wonderful combination of intense moments due to the suspense and teasing banter between uinn and James that had me smiling and the nding had me concerned for the main characters due to the danger they face but had me liking how things work out for them in the nd Then again the last line of this story has me thinking there s to come for Ms Mann s Librarian and the Spy Escapade series which I m looking forward to I would recommend An Uncommon Honeymoon by Susan Mann if you njoy romantic suspense or books by authors HelenKay Dimon Katie Ruggle Kate Serine and Dawn Ryder Check out all of

35 starsWarning Contains spoilersThis was like Mr Mrs Smith doing Luxury Escapes First we had uinn and James on their honeymoon in the Caribbean where they were approached to go gather intel at a swanky glitterati mansion That turned into a trip to a Moscow Strip Club in disguise ala Mission Impossible to take down an international drug and child slavery ring And it all culminated in James Bond style with a high stakes poker game in Casino de Monte Carlo followed by a high speed car chase between the bad Boss in a Pagani Zonda and James in a Ferrari on the streets of Monte Carlo With all that s going on there s minimal library reference work for uinn and the descriptive prose was of a travelogue of the places they visited Much PostgreSQL Server Programming - Second Edition entertaining this way A librarian spy Yes please An Uncommon Honeymoon is the third book in the Librarian and the Spy Escapade series If you need to see how a librarian becomes a CIA operative and really who doesn t you should probably start with the first book in the series The Librarian and the Spy If you re okay starting here and then going back to the beginning to see how it started as I am though jump right While on their honeymoon spies uinn and James are asked to go undercover at a party to see if they can gather information on a human trafficking suspect While undercover uinn meets two of the kidnapped children and her heart strings are tugged She is determined to stop this ring and save these kids with the help of her husband and fellow spy James As with her other novels Susan Mann brings a humanlement into what could ve been a rather mundane romantic story line Human trafficking is a real issue and here in the state of Tennessee where I live you see posters in bathrooms and rest stops I thought the balance of such a serious subject matter was relieved by the lighthearted romance between uinn and JamesThis is the third novel featuring these two main characters and we know them pretty well uinn s skills are in her knowledge and researching skills James is the physical spy of the two although that structure seems to have changed with An Uncommon Honeymoon In the past uinn seemed to know verything spouting interesting facts and tidbits but the Russian setting seemed to throw her off her stride although her confidence in her budding spy skills was strong She was firing a gun and kicking Russian butt like she d been doing it for yearsThe Indian setting was one of the things i liked best about a the things I liked best about A Affair and I missed that librarian curiosity that uinn portrayed previously She was spy ish than librarian ish in this novel which seemed a bit out of character The romance between uinn and James sizzled as it should with newlyweds and this novel had a lot sexy scenes than the two books Am I interested in reading and learning about uinn and James I think I am although believe this author needs to share the growth venly over those two characters Unless she wants to write a novel where uinn becomes James bossI was given a copy of this book through NetGalley for my honest review and it was honest Believability is not this series strong suit but its light The Taste of Night (Signs of the Zodiac, easy fun that s full of implausibilities Despite being light and breezy this story tackles the topics of drug trafficking and child slavery uinn and James get married and go to the Caribbean for their honeymoon While there they meet up with someone who gets them involved in trying to stop a ring of child slavers The story moved uickly with lots of action The topic of child slavery was sensitively handledspecially reintegrating them into their families Mix in drug smuggling a movie star humor and several implausibilities and we get a uirky sometimes suspenseful mystery and romanceuinn is fast on her feet a good researcher and capable of rescuing herself Her wits get put to the test while rescuing a group of children She and James work well together and her treats her as an ual I also njoyed their banter and their flirting That s the plan You got your Glock She slid the hem of. Shelve under Spies Russian Librarian Spies Conspiracies Librarian and rookie CIA covert operative uinn Ellington revises her honeymoon plans when she and her brand new spy.

CHILDREN AS DRUG MULES IT WAS A HARD SUBJECTas drug mules It was a hard subject address and I was uncomfortable at times I felt bad about the situation These things are real world and they are credible threats It is a suspenseful read that s for sure The plot had me riveted and I needed to find out what would happen next uinn is one of those smart girls and she is very capable of thinking uick and adapting as you go Very good when things do not go as planned and the need to deviate happens James and uinn s scapades have been fun to read If you like spy novels then jump on in These can be read as standalones but as they are all good stories I highly recommend reading all of the books in the series4 Stars2 FlamesThis book was gifted to me and I chose to leave a voluntary review The review and ratings are solely my opinions Yay my favourite spy duo is back and racing towards their nuptials but not without a little xcitementuinn is still learning her dual role as Librarian and Spy She is still Mistress of all things trivia James has finally returned from Moscow and ready to get his HEA But when their honeymoon is interrupted with the possibility of helping track down human traffickers there was no way these two were ver going to say noWith child labour trafficking drug mules possible bioweapons and all around creepiness there are a few triggers some may find it hard to get past But there was nothing too ominous or sketchy and as usual it was very well researched and presented I want to be uinns friend She is ueen of the Nerds and loving it She has her own Knight in shining armour in uinns friend She is ueen of the Nerds and loving it She has her own Knight in shining armour in shape of James and they are adorable to read Do you take it all seriously Of course not this is a total romp through the suspensespy genre and it is great fun I hate it when books take themselves all too seriously I want to decompress when I read However the themes dealt with are all too real and it made for a great read I really want in this series I loved James and uinn uinn s family is a riot and I really need another fix soo.
