The Spaniard's Untouched Bride Pdf/E–pub
He was the villain in this book so I hope he ll be cruel nough to feed my masochist side Lol This book didn t appeal to me personally for a *variety of reasons some of which are superficial The main problem I had was the fact that the H *of reasons some of which are superficial The main problem I had was the fact that the H t ven feel any latent attraction to the heroine until after her makeoverI ve read uite a few romance novels where the heroine is disguised as a boy In most of the ones I njoyed the H always had this uncanny and unwanted attraction to the disguised heroine I was hoping to see
The H Develop Unwanted Feelings For Camilla H develop unwanted feelings for Camilla she was dressed as a boy It s always fun to see see a heterosexual alpha male get scared and uestion his sexuality in these casesOne of my favourite old novels that dealt wonderfully with the trope of the disguised heroine is Gentle Rogue In that fantastic trainwreck the sexual chemistry between the MC S was scorching ven during the period when the heroine was disguised I remembered laughing so hard at how James Mallory was worried that he was having gay feelings over a boy But maybe the author couldn t introduce that lement because she probably wanted to be politically correct Who knows But that didn t happen in this book because the H honestly thought she was a boy The weirdest thing I remember was that his own housekeeper saw through the disguise and knew she was a girl In this novel I felt that the heroine was the one who was greatly drawn to the H while she was an afterthought to him until she had her makeover In fact he was so not attracted to her at first that he Trading Places: The Netherlandish Merchants in Early Modern Venice even consoled himself with thoughts of secret mistresses on the side He only had a few brief thoughts about secret mistresses though As soon as the heroine had her dramatic makeover he totally forget all about that and started lusting after her This happened in the second half of the bookI wished the author had developed some chemistryarly on between these characters Things did heat up between them later on but by that time I couldn t care less about them or their story This was a nice En plein coeur enough novel I guess but notnjoyable The Bookshop on the Shore enough for me to waste my time putting gifs and other cute stuff Lol I m only writing this review because it s long overdueI much preferred The Spaniard s Stolen Bride because that was sexier and didn t include such a boring first halfSafety No cheating the H had beenngaged but had not had sex with his former fiancee The MC S had a very short separation but were both celibate This was an okay read for meFor some reason this couple did not uite work for meI did not see the progression to lovenot Dance Real Slow even Instead she disguises herself as his stable boy Yet when Camilla’s charade is discovered Matias offers her anven shocking role as his wife Innocent Camilla is transformed I am with the rest of the GR crew This was an okay read but phoned in HPThe H is not very villainous or predatory and the heroine was interesting when she was pretending to be a 14 year old boy just
So She Could Be With Her Horses she could be with her horses guess pushing the deception is a little difficult when you have a strict Harleuin HP word limit One of my favorite girl in disguise books is Laura Black s Wild Cat an oldie but a goodie where PC doesn t remotely The Art of Memoir enter the picture The H in that book is horrified that he may have feelings for a young teen boy Laura Black is a great romance author and another man writing for a woman Okaynough about Anyhoo back to THIS book the backstory rests with the H his The Day Christ Was Born: The True Account of the First 24 Hours of Jesus's Life evil brother that is the H in the seuel and their horrible grandfather andven worse father That s a lot of menI am glad that her makeover went so well and that the H came through in the nd Rating this a 35Camilla our heroine has lost her Father and now her beloved horsesranch But she devises a plan to stay near them she poses as I received a *copy of this book in return for an honest review via NetgalleyStory wise there was * of this book in return for an honest review via NetgalleyStory wise there was new here but it was a fun mix of a sometimes cross dressing heroine arrogant hero and an motional HEACamilla has lost verything but her love for her horses What to do but to follow them and work for their new stables as a boyof course Matias runs successful racing stables and can see Camilla s obvious talent for working with the horses However her disguise and his plan to inherit are obviously not going to work out the way they xpectCamilla was feisty with a great heart and Matias a strong hero who can ventually see when he s wrong and grow because of it I liked these two as a couple The brother curve I did not see coming and the gaps in this part of the story made it rather strange I m uite hoping we learn about him soonA fun read My review is goneI wrote a review and it is gone I really did like this book The heroine was great and I liked how she dressed up *As A Boy To Stay *a boy to stay her horses The Hero was off but he grew on me I was glad he didn t have a real relationship with his fiancee I actually read the 2nd book and she was perfect for Diego I really loved that book too This is safe and worth reading There was a point when the hero was a jerk and I deducted a star for that Very good book A great marriage of convenience story Sexy possessive hero and fierce loving heroine I loved them together Good love scenes and hot chemistry Epilogue with their 2 kids was sweet Can t wait for the vil brother s story I wonder about Diego s story. Give Her Job With Herher job with her that he now has What I liked about this story is that the it relates to true life We all lose someome close to us in life And there are people that one reason or another run into debt with for some it becomes devastating that their home becomes repossessed In The Spaniard s Untouched Bride both Camillia and Matias have troubles within their family
"and it s "it s like in true life we all at some point have family problems I recommend Maisey Yates books as she is without uestion a genuine really good story teller Another great Harleuin Presents read from the wonderful Maisey Yates and I really njoyed it What I appreciated the most about this story was that it was different than anything that I have ver read from the Presents line This story was based loosely off the story Mulan which wasn t your typical retelling of classic fairytales usually they tend to be be of the Cinderella variety or Beauty and the Beast specially in that line I thought the retelling of Mulan was very well done and it definitely brought images to my mind of the Mulan story as the story unfolded It was very clever and I really Exile and Pilgrim enjoyed that aspect of the story Very uniueSince Camilla was disguising herself as a teenage boy in order to work on Matias rancho because he never hired womanspecially young women in his stables there was a very interesting dynamic between them as they interacted with one another before it was revealed that Camilla was in fact a wo.
