Is No Exception I Finished In 2no exception I finished in 2 Almost too unbelievable to be true I don t recall the 1988 Kentucky Derby exciting because a filly raced against a crowd of colts and won Some of the betting on this race made some men uite rich A lot of drama intrigue humor The other side of thoroughbred racingIn my youth I was able to experience the glamorous side of horse racing along with the several side ventures each permanent employee developed to live in that glamorous life style But that life style was peanuts compared to exposure to high sakes gamblers in The Greatest Gambling Story Ever Told I enjoyed this page turner Loved this book so much I was born in 1988 in KY and I have always felt Winning Colors is my spirit animal I ve met Lukas and Stevens backside so this whole book felt extra exciting to me I loved the story the characters the tidbits of information that had me rewatching horse races in YouTube I was nervous and excited reading this page turner There were parts that made me smile and laugh and parts that had me teary eyed A great horse a big race and a big bet Do you need If you like betting on the horses you will enjoy this book If you ask how factual the story is then you are on your own Horse players are like fishermen the story about catching the fish is much important than the size of the fish But Winning Colors was real and what she an owner and a hard headed trainer accomplished was real.
