FAR HAS BEEN SO WELL DOCUMENTED THAT IF YOU has been so well documented that if you only one book to read about Leonardo Da Vinci this is it We all know a thing or two about Leonardo Da Vinci Perhaps you have even seen the Mona Lisa Isaacson somehow managed to put together the incredible story of Leonardo Da Vinci Da Vinci studied fields of science art rban planning military tactics mapping and many other areas as well Leonardo had an insatiable curiosity about everythingThe reader will be overwhelmed by Leonardo s life story On the slightly negative side The book rating is just fractionally below five stars At times the book had a slight textbook feel to it There was so much information to cover This minor problem most likely could not be avoided A few extra pages regarding the Mona Lisa would have also been appreciated The painting has a long list of intriguing social stories This book is highly recommended The information listed is comparable to a Leonardo introductory college course I did not want this book to end I felt that I really got to know Leonardo da Vinci from reading this very detailed account written by Walter Isaacson It was great to have all the pictures as a reference to refer to when Mr Isaacson was describing them This is a really well thought out and well laid story I am now onto reading Walter Isaacson s Einstein Highly recommend This book I will read for some time It is phenomenal in its detail and diversity The insights it conveys into innovation And The World Around Us Through The the world around s through the of Leonardo Da Vinci is superb This is not a trivial book It s no lightweight nor coul.
