The Kubernetes Book: Updated April 2021Ice to load balanace Create a Deployment Being newish into DevOps and being exposed to Docker I was very interested in trying a uicker Science and Democracy hands on approach to KubernetesThis book gave me a good idea ofow K8s does orchestration and I liked the style it is presented inA few things slowed me down though I tried the examples out on a development Mac with minikube and all went well until 1 I see example configuration files split across page boundaries since yml is VERY sensitive to spacing it s easy to get it wrong Strength Training for Basketball (Strength Training for Sport) had to change the font size of the reader to see the entire file s contents for indentation purposes In this regard JSON format mayave been superior but I guess it s less prevalent2 Chapter 6 when I couldn t access the nodes IP address as per the instructions only much later in the chapter is it made clear that you ave use the minikube IP and not directly as shown in the text and images Looking at the screenshots didn t elp either they use an IP address that does not match the kubectl command outputs eg screenshots show 50X and the kubectl outputs show 100X3 Chapter6 images 611 612 do not seem to match the text which indicates the service label changes to switch replica sets only the arrows are different I expected to see the version labels changes to switch replica sets only the arrows are different I expected to see the version labels the Service boxes as well unless I don t understand (Becoming Orgasmic: A Sexual and Personal Growth Programme for Women) By Julia R. Heiman (Author) Paperback on (Dec , 2008) how this worksOverall I can stilleartily recommend this book Feels unfinished Covers the basics reasonably well but suffers greatly when it comes to covering features which make Kubernetes so desirable in a production scenario ie pod autoscaling cluster autoscaling DaemonSets service meshes RBAC etc Diagrams are also unreadable on Kindle It is a very uick to read very amusing bookVery fast gives the ints you need to see why Kubernetes is "so popular and practicalIt is very well updated It talks about the google "popular and practicalIt is very well updated It talks about the google autoscaling for containers that is

each ot With some knowledge Containers I was looking for a book to understand the basic concepts of Kubernetes First one I got was rubbish but this one completely satisfied my need Further it took only about 2 ours to read took only about 2 ours to read the concepts planted in the ead I can now dig into the details TL DRGood book for only the basics of kubernetes Buy it on kindle as you will not use it after the first readDon t buy if you Des Souris et des hommes eBook: John Steinbeck, Maurice-Edgar Coindreau: Amazon.fr: Amazon Media EUS.à r.l. have watched the course on Plural sightFull versionFirstly the book itself is great as a getting started guide on Kubernetes It takes you through creating your first sets of resources and gives a clear indication ofow you could set this up in different situations As a first timer in kubernetes it is good Its easy to follow and easy to readFor those who care even the paper is great uality Its nice and thickNow for the not so goodThis book is just the basics Great for getting started but you will very uickly out grow it Although that is exactly what the book is for I would suggest buying it on kindle and make a few notes if you really want I suspect that once you Black Women in White America A Documentary History have finished reading it you most likely will never pick it up againIt does not cover Kubernetes in production in anyway or formIf youave watched the Plural sight course also produced by the Author then don t bother buying the book Rather just go look at the transcript of the course and you will Leggiamo l'ora. SUMMARY The Kubernetes Book: Updated April 2021

Great book if you want To Learn About KubernetesSimple Explanation learn about KubernetesSimple explanation Concepts And Will Allow concepts and will allow to to expand on this knowledge I ate to leave bad reviews given the amount of effort that goes into making a book like this but this one is altogether too superficial and verbose to recommendIt provides basic coverage of installing k8s and the essential concepts of pods services replica sets and deploymentsThere s no real advice on ow to actually use k8s in the real world which is very disappointing things like autoscaling are not even mentioned there s no suggested guidance for naming labelling pods services etc to cope with prod vs staging environments no coverage of things like Je voudrais que quelqu'un m'attende quelque part helm sidecar containers service meshes secret management etc etcIts also laboured and wordy at points often repeating the exact same thing in almost the exact same words a mere paragraph or two after it was first brought up Some parts could be literally a third the length for no reduction in ac This is a good introduction but needed examples especially in the security sections Last 2 chapters in security felt rushed and didn t flow with the book leading myself to just speed read through them Some spelling mistakes and differences in the book and actual output to the commands on screen is distracting This is not as good material wise as the docker deep dive book which I found to be excellent Straight to the point this is a really easy book to follow it gives you ample enough information and labs to get you straight into the doing rather than endless amount of theory and readingI really like Nigel s style and thanks toim I can now continue on with my K8s knowledge and start using it on AWS in my caseI would recommend this and any of Nigel s book to anyone because they cut out the waffle and get straight into the weeds but with enough labs to Pour l'harmonisation orthographique des dictionnaires hammerome the pointThanks Nigel I read through this book and found it a good insight into kubernetes It allowed me to start understanding the fundamental structures in a simpl.
